Plastic surgery offers a wide variety of changes to the face and body that in many cases can produce outstanding results. Many of these results are well publicized across the internet and on many plastic surgeon’s websites. But just because a great result can be obtained on one person does not necessarily mean that it can occur in every case or that another person may be able to achieve a similar outcome on themselves.
There are limits as to what plastic surgery can achieve when it comes to any type of physical change. The combination of one’s own natural anatomy and tissue qualities as well as a patient’s expectations determines the satisfaction with the surgical outcome. Many ‘complications’ in plastic surgery are aesthetic in nature and strive to take an acceptable result to an even better degree of improvement.
But unlike this plastic surgery humor cartoon, not any change is possible with plastic surgery and one does not always ‘leave as you wish’. The key to a successful outcome in any aesthetic plastic surgery procedure is a well educated patient beforehand who has been appraised of what is and what is not possible.
