Botox is not just for women. More and more men are getting Botox injections to soften their facial wrinkles. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the number of men getting Botox increased over 250 percent over the past 10 years. While the number still pales in comparison to women, the increase shows the increasing acceptance amongst men. The most common facial area for injection in men is in the forehead to soften the horizontal and glabellar wrinkles and create less of an angry appearance. Men often prefer more subtle changes and Botox is a lot more subdued than a browlift operation. Botox for men has been called ‘Brotox’.
